This little tool sits in the task bar and checks for new e-mails. It doesn't download them but just checks at a set time if there are any emails, if so it can play a sound and even gives you a shortcut to your email client.

To install it, just copy the exe into any directory and start it. It will automatically place itself in the task bar and will be available for configuration.
