The event-management is based on the principle that every
user-action creates an event in the system which can be used to
trigger defined follow up-actions.
For example the login of an user can be combined with the
display of new messages in the mailbox or the creation of a
document in the CMS can trigger the automatic notification of
the person responsible for clearance. Or a ranking-system can be
created which counts the actions of users and displays the
most active users in a VIP-list. With this even complex workflow-
and quality-management-processes can be controlled very
flexible.
