Alerter is the instant messaging system of Corinis. With this important events or system-messages can be sent directly to all users.

Direct communication between users is also possible. With the Alerter important information can be transferred fast and efficiently within workgroups, direct realtime communication within communities is possible and system-administrators have a useful tool for informing users ("System down for 1 hour due to maintenance", ...).

There's also a tool similar to ICQ to also be integrated in this system when offline.
